Allowide Health is a Canadian regenerative medicine and medical technology company focused on improving bone allograft preparation for orthopedic and dental surgeries. Bone allografts are commonly used in millions of procedures worldwide each year and must be rehydrated before implantation. The current standard of care primarily relies on normal saline, a passive solution that was not specifically designed to support the biological environment of bone graft preparation. Allowide Health is developing a novel physiologic rehydration solution designed to better support the preparation environment of bone allografts while fitting directly into existing surgical workflows without adding complexity for clinicians. Our technology is being developed to support improved graft handling, cellular activity, and mineralization potential during graft preparation. Early in-vitro laboratory validation studies using real donor bone samples have demonstrated promising results compared to traditional saline preparation methods. The company has completed early-stage R&D and laboratory validation activities and is currently advancing regulatory, preclinical, and clinical development plans in Canada and the United States. Allowide Health has also established collaborations with clinicians, researchers, universities, and regulatory advisors, while securing multiple innovation and funding support programs. Our long-term vision is to establish a new standard for bone graft preparation in regenerative medicine and surgical care.
