Blind students in Canada and around the world often don't have access to quality education. This mainly stems from a lack of quality braille education where students are often left depending on listening to content without the ability to read or write it. Support teachers are overloaded and are often unable to meet with all the students and fully support them. Bonocle started as a hardware product for braille education with a one-cell braille mouse but has since pivoted into enterprise software for vision itinerant teachers across Canada and a gamified educational app for blind and low vision students. Our app works with any braille device and allows students to learn through play while it connects with a learning management system and provides insights into their learning experience and allows teachers to control and optimize the students learning experience remotely.
