What do we do

CirclHealth is a Canadian health tech startup with a simple mission: help families understand their health- now and over time. The mobile app turns doctor visit recordings and uploaded health documents (lab results, prescriptions, scans) into plain-language summaries, written at roughly a Grade 6 reading level, so patients actually understand what their doctor told them — no medical jargon, no confusion. Summaries are instantly translated into different languages, so language is never a barrier to understanding your own care or a loved one's. Information is organized in a way that's easy to understand, so you can see whether you — or a loved one — are maintaining your health or may need to pay closer attention in certain areas. Every finding is attributed directly to the doctor ("Doctor said…"), keeping the app in a supportive, non-diagnostic role rather than making its own medical judgments. My Circl, one of the app's core features, works like a secure Netflix account for your health records — each family member has their own login, but can selectively share access with people they trust. Think an adult child helping coordinate an aging parent's care, or a parent keeping track of a child's health history, all with scoped, revocable permissions. Privacy is CirclHealth's structural foundation, not just a policy. Unlike most health apps, which embed third-party SDKs from companies like Facebook and Instagram that quietly collect and share user data, CirclHealth uses zero third-party SDKs — so your health information stays truly private. Original documents and audio are also discarded immediately after processing, with only the plain-language summary retained. Your data is NOT our business model. Founded by CEO Dale Payne (life sciences and health policy background) alongside Chief Medical Officer Dr. Andrew Kouri (practicing respirologist, MD/PhD), CirclHealth is built on the belief that understanding your own health shouldn't require a medical degree. Health. Simple.
