What do we do

Deep.Meta based in London, UK was founded to tackle one of the biggest challenges facing modern industry, such as the rising energy and carbon costs of steel production. Recognising that the steel sector contributes nearly 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions and still relies heavily on manual, experience-based decisions, Deep.Meta is harnessing the power of AI to transform steel manufacturing into a cleaner, more efficient, and data-driven process. By providing integrated steel mills with AI-powered data-driven optimisation tools, we help them cut energy use, lower carbon emissions, and accelerate digital transformation toward net zero. Guided by our mission to give manufacturers greater control over their processes and drive a low-carbon future, Deep.Meta has already raised over £1.2 million in funding and was selected as a finalist for the UK Government–backed Manchester Prize for Clean Energy Systems using AI.
