Green Salvaged Materials Inc.
Green Salvaged Materials (GSM) is building the data and logistics infrastructure for circular construction. Today, construction materials are largely managed through fragmented, linear systems—resulting in billions of dollars of surplus and reusable materials being treated as waste. GSM replaces this with an integrated platform that captures, verifies, and redistributes materials across the construction supply chain. At its core, GSM is the data layer for construction material reuse. The platform integrates directly into project workflows—from pre-demolition audits and construction site surplus tracking to manufacturer and distributor inventory—creating a real-time, trusted inventory of materials that can move between projects. GSM enables three critical functions: • Early identification and pre-sale of materials prior to demolition • Capture and redistribution of surplus materials from active projects, yards, and supply chains • Demand signaling (“looking for”) to match fragmented needs with available supply Through standardized protocols and embedded trust systems, GSM connects field teams, design professionals, contractors, and manufacturers—ensuring materials are verified, traceable, and ready for reuse. This supports cost savings, reduces waste, and enables measurable Scope 3 carbon reductions. Beyond the marketplace, GSM generates material flow data that informs procurement, design, and lifecycle decision-making, positioning the platform as critical infrastructure for a more efficient and resilient construction industry. GSM works with leading construction associations, manufacturers, owners, and public sector partners to scale this system across Canada, with a pathway to broader North American expansion.
