LIOR Pupillometry is developing an accessible, field-ready pupillometer that brings objective pupillary assessment closer to the front lines of care. Today, pupil checks are still often performed manually, making them subjective, inconsistent, and difficult to track. LIOR is building a handheld, easy-to-use device that delivers fast, objective pupil data in seconds, helping frontline providers identify concerning changes earlier and support better triage, documentation, and decision-making. Our initial focus is emergency medical services, critical care transport, military medics, sports safety, schools, and other environments where quick neurological screening can make a meaningful difference. By making quantitative pupillometry more affordable, portable, and practical outside the hospital, LIOR aims to close a major gap between advanced neurological assessment and real-world frontline care.
