Long-term care homes have digitized their records. What they haven't solved is whether required care work actually gets done. When a resident falls, has a medication change, or experiences a behavioural escalation, a chain of clinical work has to happen: assessments, notifications, follow-ups, documentation, handoffs across shifts. In most homes today, that chain depends entirely on staff memory and manual coordination - work gets started, but no system ensures it finishes. Follow-ups are missed. Context is lost at shift change. Managers spend hours chasing and verifying work that should have been automatically tracked. Marlann is the clinical workflow execution layer that closes that gap. When a care event occurs, Marlann automatically generates the required workflow, assigns tasks to the right roles with clear ownership and timing, carries the work forward across shifts, and tracks every step to verified completion - writing outcomes back into the EMR with a full audit trail. It sits above existing systems rather than replacing them, ensuring the work they record actually gets done. For operators, the result is labour hours recovered from coordination overhead, regulatory compliance absorbed without adding headcount, and consistent execution across every site and every shift. We are currently working with an Ontario LTC home under a signed enterprise contract, with pipeline into an LTC pharmacy network of 350+ homes. Marlann is building the execution infrastructure long-term care has never had - and that the post-COVID regulatory environment now demands.
