Marvecyte Biotechnology is an Ontario-based venture leveraging a preclinically-validated tLNP platform to develop a library of novel, cell-specific binders that enables precision in vivo delivery of cell and gene therapy. Current cell therapies (e.g., CAR-T) rely on costly, risky, and slow ex vivo manufacturing. While the industry is shifting toward in vivo delivery to solve this, the fundamental bottleneck is off-target toxicity. Existing delivery vehicles lack the extreme cellular specificity required to prevent cargo from hitting unintended cells, creating significant safety and efficacy barriers. Marvecyte solves the specificity gap by combining a proven tLNP formulation platform (validated via our US affiliate, Tiva Biosciences) with a proprietary Canada-based engine for generating licensable, cell-specific binders. By integrating LNP conjugation expertise with novel aptamer and nanobody discovery, we provide the 'GPS' necessary for genetic medicines to reach the correct cells. In the near term, we produce assets (tLNP binders) with high commercial value through upfront fees and milestones. Long-term, Marvecyte will develop a therapeutic pipeline using tLNPs.
