Oncoustics is a deep tech company that leverages the rise of low-cost ultrasound devices and systems, using machine learning and deep learning, processed on powerful cloud-based compute systems along with edge deploy technologies on smart devices to develop point of care solutions that address unmet clinical needs. Oncoustics is a unique and innovative player in the medical imaging AI space today. Unlike other players in the space, we are not doing image recognition alone. Instead, we apply AI to raw ultrasound signals from readily available handheld ultrasound devices to rapidly differentiate healthy versus diseased tissues. There's a wealth of information in these raw signals - that is typically thrown away - and our approach reveals novel biomarkers that can be aligned with existing standards and categorization systems. In addition to our filed patents and provisional filings, we've amassed over 4M pieces of RF data to train our models, reportedly the largest single RF dataset in the world.
