What do we do

To help address the global shortage of neurosurgical capacity, we have integrated our MRI-compatible surgical robot for brain surgery with an MRI scanner to create the world’s first hybrid MRI-compatible operating room. This solution can reduce workflow time by 50%, increase surgical capacity to 2 to 3 times, and operate at just 10% of the cost of current intraoperative operating rooms such as iMRIS and other hybrid surgical suites. It is estimated that approximately 10,000 to 15,000 hospitals worldwide perform brain surgeries. If each hospital were to adopt just 1 of our systems, this could generate $7– 11 billion in direct sales for our robotic system, not including consumables, maintenance, or service revenues. For comparison, our competitor IMRIS has made an estimated $1–2 billion in direct sales to date, with about 100 installations globally. IMRIS raised a total of $87 million across various funding rounds and has been acquired twice, in 2015 and again in 2025.
