Reformulary Group was founded and led by Helen Stevenson, former Assistant Deputy Minister of Health and Executive Officer, Government of Ontario, who led the most significant reforms to the prescription drug system in 50 years. Reformulary Group built a proprietary Rx drug formulary and turned into a subscription-based business. The most recognized third-party formulary (drug list) in Canada, the Reformulary scaled from one distribution channel in 2012, to five distribution channels, multiple strategic partners, over 1,000 corporates and unions, and about 450,000 Canadians – and growing. Annual recurring revenue represents 85% of total revenue and 98% retention rates among subscribers. RG has amassed big data sets, including prescription claims data for 21 million Canadians, and offers subscription-based data products to pharma companies, consulting companies, etc. They have also built and are launching real-world evidence (RWE) tools to collect and monetize much sought-after RWE data. Reformulary Group’s mission is to make more drugs more affordable for more Canadians. The company is a privately-held, highly scalable company. It has a ten-member team with 100% female C-suite, located in downtown Toronto.
