Synod Intellicare is a health-tech organization focused on advancing ethical AI for bias detection and equitable decision-making in healthcare. The project aims to enhance transparency, fairness, and accountability in clinical AI systems through its proprietary tool, the Data Diversity & Fairness Auditor (DDFA). DDFA is designed to identify and quantify systemic bias in healthcare data at the point of care, with zero additional cognitive load on clinicians. The DDFA flags bias before harm occurs. And it builds the evidence base hospitals need to prove their AI is fair, to regulators, to boards, and to their patients and communities.
