The Victoria Hand Project (VHP) is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to providing affordable, 3D-printed prosthetic care to arm amputees in underserved communities around the world. We operate within the healthcare, technology, and international development sectors. Our innovative model leverages advanced, cost-effective technologies like 3D printing, 3D scanning, and specialized software to empower our global partners to fabricate and fit high-quality, functional prosthetic arms directly within their own regions. This decentralized approach ensures sustainability and provides a life-changing solution where traditional prosthetic care is often unavailable or too expensive. To date, we have helped over 400 amputees regain their independence. A significant focus of our current work is in Ukraine, where we are actively providing prosthetic care to those affected by the ongoing war. Every donation we receive goes directly toward fitting an amputee with a life-changing prosthetic arm. Victoria Hand Project is a member of the Mobility Unlimited Hub cohort at MaRS.
