Innovate-Ops Inc. is developing IoT Octopus — a portable, plug-and-play industrial monitoring platform that delivers immediate visibility into equipment performance, reliability, and energy usage. Designed for small and mid-sized manufacturing and logistics facilities underserved by traditional systems, IoT Octopus represents a cleantech breakthrough in industrial operations — enabling real-time monitoring of machine health, power consumption, and process efficiency with zero infrastructure changes or Wi-Fi dependency. Our approach combines hardware efficiency with data intelligence. The IoT Octopus device is intentionally cost-effective, scalable, and built to connect our software directly with the physical world — giving us full control of the end-to-end solution. Its true value lies in the data we collect and the AI analytics that transform it into actionable insights. Using a combination of synthetic and real-world data, we accelerate machine learning and predictive maintenance capabilities, helping plants reduce downtime, cut energy waste, and achieve their ESG and sustainability goals from day one. The Octopus installs in minutes on both modern and legacy equipment, requiring no complex integration or certification delays. It uses multiple sensors — including vibration, temperature, sound, magnetic field, and power monitoring — to detect early signs of equipment failure, inefficiency, and excessive energy draw. Designed for operations teams without dedicated IT support, the device connects via Wi-Fi or cellular networks, and delivers insights right out of the box. On our technical roadmap, we’re building the Plant Manager Assistant — an AI-driven copilot platform that integrates data from our devices and other plant systems to help operations teams run their facilities more efficiently. We’ve already filed a patent for our device, and the next step is securing IP protection for our software, which will become our strongest competitive advantage.
